Frequently Asked Questions
What are your payment options for booking?
A deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
If your booking date is less than 6 weeks prior to your arrival, full payment will be due at the time of booking.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we welcome dogs in some of our accommodation for a nightly rate of £15 per dog. You need to ensure that you book a dog friendly lodge (look out for the dog symbol on our website). There is a maximum of 1 large dog or 2 small dogs per accommodation and all dogs need to be kept on a lead whilst on Erigmore’s grounds. Dogs should be included in your online check-in form and please remember that dogs cannot be left unattended in your accommodation.
Do you accept group bookings?
Due to the family orientated nature of Erigmore, we do not allow hen and stag bookings, however we do welcome group bookings such as family gatherings.
If you wish to book a single sex party, you must tell us all the ages of your party members before booking.
Please be aware that our spa lodges are not able to be booked as part of a group booking.
Are you allowed children in spa lodges?
Our one bedroom spa lodges are only available to guests over the age of 21.
In our 2 bedroom boutique spa lodge, we can accommodate those over the ages of 16 as long as they are part of a Family Booking
We welcome babies (12months and under) in our highland spa lodges however, please be aware the babies are not allowed in the hot tub.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate babies in our boutique spa lodges as there is not sufficient room in the bedrooms for a travel cot.
Do you provide travel cots and high chairs?
Yes, we offer both high chairs and travel cots free of charge. These items must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Don’t forget to bring your own linen for the travel cot!
Can I book a one night stay?
At present we do not offer a one night stay. The majority of the year we offer a minimum 2 night stay, with the exception of peak seasons when the minimum stay is 3 nights.
During the New Year period we offer a fixed 3 night package, arriving on 30th or 31st December.
What are the arrival and departure times?
You may check in to your accommodation anytime after 3pm. Check out is by 10am on the day of your departure.
Occasionally, subject to availability, we may be able to offer an earlier check in or later check out for a small charge.
Is linen provided and what else should we bring?
All bed linen and towels are provided. We also provide a tea towel, 2 toilet rolls per bathroom and a small cleaning pack which is enough to keep you going for a few days. If you are staying for longer than 3 nights, we recommend that you bring further supplies with you. You may also wish to bring your own towels for use in the swimming pool.
Are there hairdryers/irons/ironing boards in the accommodation?
Yes, each accommodation is equipped with an iron, ironing board and at least one hairdryer.
Are the facilities open all year round?
Erigmore’s facilities are open all year round, however during our quieter periods we do shorten our opening times. We recommend checking our website before you arrive to familiarise yourself with our opening hours for swimming pool and bar.
Is there wifi?
There is free wifi available in our bar; however we do not have wifi in our holiday accommodation. This is something at we are looking into and hope to provide in the future.
Is there somewhere nearby to purchase groceries?
For milk, bread and newspapers, the local convenience store is just a short walk into Birnam. If you are looking for a little more choice, the main street in Dunkeld has a Co-op, a local butchers and a delicatessen to name a few.
A short drive in to Perth (approx 12 miles) and you will find a choice of supermarkets including Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Marks & Spencer Simply Food.
If you wish to arrange an online grocery delivery, we kindly ask that you notify us of this in advance so that we can direct the delivery driver to the correct accommodation.
Do we provide/are you allowed BBQs?
We do not provide BBQs, however we are happy for our guest to bring their own with them. We kindly ask that no BBQs are placed on the wooden decking or on top of garden furniture. Any damage caused by BBQs will be payable by yourselves.
