Cycling

Enjoy the miles and miles of excellent cycle track in the area and experience the breathtaking beauty of Perthshire.

Outstanding views, vivid colours, whatever the season and clean fresh air make cycling a must do activity. 

Golfing

With over 40 of the finest inland courses in the world to choose from, set in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland, Perthshire is an ideal choice for golfers of all ages and abilities.

The closest course is Dunkeld & Birnam Golf Course which is 10 minutes away by car.

Fishing

The River Tay is Scotland’s biggest river and is famous for salmon fishing. Anglers the word over come to the Tay where they can experience un crowded  fishing with stunning scenery and some of the best salmon and brown trout fishing in the world.

Adventure

If you are looking for excitement, adventure and something to get the heart pumping there are a raft of activities available in the Dunkeld area. From river rafting, rock climbing and abseiling to rap running, kayaking and off road driving there is something to test or challenge you.

History and Heritage

The surrounding area is steeped in history with some of Scotland’s most historic figure leaving a rich legacy to be explored.

Some of our favourites are the nearby Dunkeld Cathedral, The Hermitage, Birnam Wood, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and Blair Castle.

Theatre

With an aim to inspire, entertain and delight Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall offer a great night out.

Both venues offer a year round programme which includes a mix of classic and popular drama, music, comedy, dance, film and contemporary art. You will also find a café bar in each venue and a restaurant in Perth Theatre.

Family Attractions
Fun for all the family is close at hand, Youngsters can explore the world of Beatrix Potter at the exhibition centre in Birnam, express themselves by painting pottery, splash at the local leisure pool in Perth or work of some of their energy at the nearby adventure park.
